Well it’s that time of year when there’s a little nip in the air. Depending on where you live, you may have a longer fall season where temperatures gradually dip lower and lower. Where I am, however, fall lasts for a couple weeks in September then we’re just fast forward into the full winter coats.
With that in mind, I’ve put some looks together for days when it’s still warm enough to not be covered from head to toe in winter gear. Some of the pieces are available in my Ebay store so affiliate links were provided in case you want to get the look for yourself.
This first look is for a day that calls for a short sleeve sweater and open toe faux suede sandals…this day is long gone where I am 😦
Grey Tunic Sweater (Size 2X) available here
Another cute not so cold weather look is this netted short sleeved sweater and cropped jeans:
Torrid Pink Netted Sweater (Size 1X) available here
Denim Cropped Jeans (Size 24, runs small fits like Size 20) available here
And for a breezy day you might want to accent your look with a light jacket. Fall is a great time for layering.
When the weather gets a little colder, why not go for a nice warm sweater? Even going up a size or two making it a perfect look with a cozy pair of leggings.
Light Blue Sweater (Size 22/24) available here
As the temperatures dip and you add a heavier coat, you still can have something cute and form fitting underneath.
Gap Brand Gold Top (Size XL) available here
Ashley Tipton Maroon Quilted Pencil Skirt (Size 2X) available here
And as we roll right into holiday party season, this look is festive and sophisticated.
Black Velvet Skirt with Satin Ruffle Slit (Size 16W) available here
Black Velvet Blazer (similar) here
Avenue Black Lace Top (Size 18/20) available here
I hope you enjoyed these looks and perhaps it gave you some ideas for fall/winter wardrobe combinations. Feel free to grab a piece or two to spice up your look this season! Stay tuned for part 2! 🙂
